Keryn Williams BBS, Director / Consultant

Keryn is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience working within a wide variety of business environments – from international corporations in the UK, to a local chartered accountants office to several smaller local businesses.

For the past 6 years, Keryn has been studying part-time through Massey University and has . During this period, she has been working independently with small businesses to improve their accounting systems.

Keryn has found her niche is assisting small to medium sized businesses in Taranaki to establish reliable accounting processes by using appropriate accounting and payroll software. She enjoys building trusting relationships with her clients and finds the work of training people to be very rewarding.

Now that Keryn has completed her Business Studies degree, she is working with businesses in a full-time capacity with Accounting Essentials.

Keryn and her husband, Rhys, have two children – Meg, 11 and Jack, 9. Together, they enjoy a wide variety of sport including surfing, skiing, cycling, rollerblading, soccer, basketball, netball and rugby.

Following completion of her Business Studies degree, Carol worked as a software programmer in the corporate environment, before taking a break to have a family.

On returning to the workforce, her career took a new direction, and for 6 years she worked in the Chartered Accountant environment. In 2004 her primary focus became setting up, training and supporting accounting and payroll software for clients from a variety of industries. Now Carol is continuing this role for Accounting Essentials.

Carol enjoys the challenges of tailoring software solutions to support each client’s particular business requirements, helping her clients review their office processes to support accurate data entry, and develop reports that support business informtaion and decision-making.

Carol and her husband, Alan, have 3 grown children, Geoffrey, Bethel and Evan. After years of following and supporting their children's interests, including competitive swimming, surf life-saving, hockey, netball and dancing, Carol and Alan are looking forward to developing some interests of their own.
